I just got back from Belize, where I went over spring break.  One thing I did in Belize was went snorkeling.  We also ate a lot of good food there.  Even though break was fun, now that I am back in school I have a goal for the rest of the year.

            Over break, I went snorkeling in Belize.  We spent all day on a small, red sailboat.  We stopped at two different places to snorkel, and saw a lot of coral reef.  We also saw sharks that and 4 – 7 feet long.  The sharks were brown with small spots and had flat noses.  Also, we saw manta rays swimming at the bottom of the ocean.  While we were snorkeling we also saw a lot of fish.  The fish were big and silver, and had huge eyes.

            While we were there, we ate a lot of good food.  One of my favorite things we ate was the chicken.  A man had a small restaurant on the side of the road grilling jerk chicken.  We also ate a lot of seafood like shrimp and fish. One more thing we ate was many different kinds of tacos.

            Now that I’m back in school, I want to do well on my math MCA test.  I am going to use the links on our 5th grade website to practice my math skills.  When I take the test I will make sure to take my time.  In Mr. Simmons’ class I will work my hardest to learn the things he is teaching.  I will also do all my homework at night to help review.

            I had a lot of fun over break in Belize, especially snorkeling and eating good food.  Now that I’m back in school, I want to focus on the MCA’s and do my best.
